Delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Delhi) has informed that the online registration process for INI-SS in Post-Doctoral [DM/MCh (3 years)/MD (Hospital Administration) for July 2023 session has been postponed.
Per the previous notification, the online registration was scheduled to begin on 14.03.2023. But now it has been postponed. The revised date has not yet been announced. AIIMS has not issued any clarification for a reason behind this.
All candidates must visit the website www.aiimsexams.ac.in regularly since all subsequent Corrigendum/Addendum/Updates will only be uploaded on the website.

Recently AIIMS has released the tentative schedule of entrance examinations to be conducted during the year 2023-2024. According to the schedule, the entrance exam (stage 1) for INI SS July 2023 session will be held on 29.4.2023, and results (stage 1) will be declared on 5.5.2023. Departmental assessment (stage II) and final result dates will be announced later.
The entrance test for admission into DM/M.Ch./MD Hospital Administration Courses at Institutes of National Importance (INI) is held twice a year for the January and July sessions of respective years. The Institute of National Importance Super-Specialty Entrance Test (INI-SS) is the common entrance test.
The objective of INI-SS is to conduct a common entrance test for the preparation of a merit list as per the scheme of evaluation/admission applicable at different INIs for admission in super speciality courses at participating Institutes of National Importance and allocation of single seats to candidates based on their overall merit based on the synchronized allocation of seats.
The aim of INI –
1. In postgraduate and post-doctoral education, the most important function of an Institute of National Importance is to provide opportunities to train teachers for medical colleges in the country in an atmosphere of research and development.
2. Postgraduate and Post-Doctoral students are exposed to newer teaching methods and given opportunities to participate in teaching exercises actively.
3. The other important objectives of the Institute of National Importance are to bring together, in one place, the educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all the essential branches of health activity and to attain self-sufficiency in postgraduate medical education.
