AIIMS Begins Registration Process For INI SS July 2023 Session With 611 Seats

Delhi: The registration process for admission to INI SS (DM,
MCh, MD Hospital Administration) July 2023 session has begun. All India
Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Delhi) has allotted 611 seats for the
above courses.

Validity of Category (OBC/EWS/SC/ST/PWBD) Certificate –

1. Any category certificate will be considered valid only if it is in Hindi/English and has been issued before the last date of Online Registration of application (i.e., 06.04.2023). Candidates applying under OBC/EWS category must possess a valid OBC/EWS certificate issued by the competent authority for admission in Central Govt. Institution.

2. Category Certificate must be uploaded on or before the closing date of application.

3. OBC certificate – The date of certification issue for OBC (NCL) candidates should not be earlier than 1 year from the last date of submission of Completion of Application, which is 06.04.2023, i.e., should be issued between 07.04.2022to 06.04.2023, (both dates inclusive).

4. EWS certificate – The EWS certificate must be valid for the financial year 2023-2024 and issued on or after 01.04.2023 & on or before 15.05.2023 based on the income of 2022-2023.

Age relaxation –

1. FOR AIIMS New Delhi & Other AIIMS – Upper Age limit is 35 years as of 1st July 2023, i.e., Born on or after 01.07.1988

2. FOR PGIMER, Chandigarh – Upper Age limit is 45 years as of 1st July 2023, i.e., Born on or after 01.07.1978

3. FOR NIMHANS, Bengaluru – Upper Age limit is 37 years as of 1st July 2023, i.e., Born on or after 01.07.1986

4. FOR SCTIMST, Thiruvananthapuram – Upper Age limit is 40 years as of 1st July 2023, i.e., Born on or after 01.07.1983

5. FOR JIPMER, Puducherry – No Upper Age Limit

No reservation is applicable inDM/M.Ch. Courses. The candidates must have completed the requisite qualification, degree, and tenure by 31.07.2023. The candidates likely to complete their 3 years requisite qualification, degree, and tenure after 31.07.2023 will not be eligible to appear in this examination.

The courses will start from dates as mentioned in important dates at a glance. The last date for admission to the DM/MCh & MD (Hospital Administration) course will be mentioned in important dates at a glance. In any circumstances, the last date for admission will not be extended after the dates mentioned above. This includes candidates on the wait list who may be offered a seat if the selected candidates do not join.

MD Hospital Administration –

1. The candidate must possess MBBS or an equivalent degree (As per NMC)

2. Must possess a minimum experience of three years in a Govt. Hospital in the relevant field or five years in general practice. A certificate issued by the District Magistrate in support of the general practice claimed should be uploaded.

3. Candidates belonging to UR/OBC/EWS/Sponsored must have obtained 55% in aggregate in all MBBS Professional Examinations. Candidates belonging to SC/ST must have obtained at least 50% aggregate marks in all MBBS professionals.

4. Must be registered with Central /State Medical Registration Council.

5. The candidates who have already done MD/MS or equivalent are not eligible for this course.

Graduated from Foreign Universities – Indian National candidates who have graduated from foreign Universities must fill in their NMC screening exam marks in percentage in the online form. Candidate must have obtained marks as mentioned above in FMGE exam conducted by NBE or any other authority of Govt. of India, Delhi.

Other Terms & Conditions –

The candidates must have completed the requisite qualification, degree, and experience by 31.07.2023. The candidates likely to complete their requisite qualification, degree, and experience after 31.07.2023 will not be eligible to appear in this examination.

The question paper will consist of questions from the General/Basic
component of the qualifying educational qualification and from sub- specialty/systems/component of the specialty/course for which the

the examination is being conducted.

Qualifying Criteria in Stage I

:

50 percent (%)

Stage – II: Applicable to all AIIMS only

Total Marks: 20

1. Candidate must secure 50 percent (%) or more marks in Stage-I[as per the decision of the meeting of the 116th Academic Committee (item No.AC/116/10 dated 06.03.2018)].

2. Candidate must have applied in online registration for AIIMS seats in respective specialty/course.

3. Candidate must be eligible as per the eligibility criteria of AIIMS.

4. Out of the candidates who fulfill the above criteria, candidates- 3(three) times the number of seats advertised for AIIMS OR2(two) times the total number of seats in AIIMS & other INIs, whichever is higher or as decided by the competent authority at the time of declaration of result will be called for departmental clinical/practical/lab-based assessment (carrying 20 marks) related to sub-specialty/systems/component of the specialty/course for which the candidate has applied in the respective department at AIIMS, New Delhi.

5. To qualify for AIIMS Seat allocation, candidates must obtain 50 percent (%) or more marks in Stage-I & Stage-II combined.

6. If candidates get marks more than 50 percent (%) in Stage-I but less than 50 percent (%) marks in Stage I & II combined, they will not be treated as qualified for AIIMS Seats.

7. Candidates called for departmental assessment (Stage – II) and remain absent in Stage – II; will not be treated as qualified for AIIMS Seats.

Preparation of Merit Lists –

Two lists of qualified candidates in order of merit will be declared based on performance in the Stage – I & Stage – II examinations (as applicable).

Common Merit List (CML) –

1. Candidate must have appeared in the Test for Stage – I.

2. As per the scheme of study, all qualified candidates in the Stage – I examination will be assigned a rank and placed in the list in order of overall rank.

3. This merit list (CML) will be used to allocate seats in all INI except AIIMS as per the method of allocation described in the prospectus.

AIIMS Merit List (AML) –

1. This Merit List (AML) will be used for the allocation of Seats in all AIIMS only

2. Candidate must have appeared & qualified in both examinations Stage – I & Stage – II as per the scheme of examination described above.

3. The list will be based on combined marks obtained in Stage- I & Stage – II (100 marks) for qualified candidates only.

4. All qualified candidates will be assigned a rank and placed in the list in order of overall rank.

Sponsored/OCI/Foreign National category candidates –

They will be placed in the respective merit lists as per their performance and Eligibility, as applicable to all other general candidates as described above, with respective category tags mentioned against their rank. Such candidates will be considered for Seats under Sponsored/OCI/Foreign National category in order of merit. The seat advertised under Sponsored/OCI/Foreign National is strictly non-convertible/Interchangeable from the seat advertised under General Category or vice-versa.

Method of Resolving Ties –

According to age (Date of birth), the older candidate shall get preference over the younger one.

Sponsored Candidate –

1. It is mandatory to upload a valid Sponsored certificate in the Completion of Application on or before the date(s) mentioned in the Important Dates Section of Prospectus Part- A. Please note that candidates must submit an original sponsored certificate at the time of reporting/joining for the allocated postgraduate seat, failing which, their candidature will be canceled.

2. All columns available in the sponsorship certificate should be duly filled. If any columns do not pertain to the candidate should be a mandatory strike out (X).

3. For Detail, see the Performa for Sponsorship certificate as applicable for different Institutes.

Foreign National/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) –

1. Foreign nationals/Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) must fill in the prescribed online application form indicating the choice of subject (only one subject) for admission to Postgraduate courses leading to the award of DM/M.Ch. & MD (Hospital Administration) Entrance Examination.

2. foreign nationals must send their Registration Slip for Online application through the Diplomatic channel. They must also appear in the Competitive Entrance Examination along with other candidates. The No Objection Certificate (NOC) obtained from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, should be submitted to the Examination Section on or before the date(s) mentioned in the Important Dates Section of Prospectus Part-A. Kindly note that no objection certificate obtained solely from the Ministry of External Affairs is not considered a valid NOC for INI-SS.

3. All OCI candidates will be considered for seats applicable to Foreign Nationals at respective INI. OCI candidates must upload the scan copy of the OCI card on or before the date(s) mentioned in the Important Dates Section of Prospectus Part-A.

4. The foreign nationals/Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) will be considered against the seats advertised for DM/M.Ch. & MD (Hospital Administration) Entrance Examination courses as per rules applicable at respective participating institutes. They should be registered with NMC before they can join the said course If they are selected for the same.

5. Seats are not reserved in any discipline for foreign nationals (except the bilateral agreement between the Government of India and any other nation).

6. Nominations/No objection for the candidate should reach the Examination Section before the date specified under “IMPORTANT DATE AT A”GLANCE.” In case of non-rec”ipt of the nominations/clearance/no objection from the concerned Ministry by the due date, their candidature will not be considered.

7. AIIMS will pay no emoluments to the Foreign National candidates/OCI. In this regard, rules at respective INI shall be applicable as per prospectus part B.

Submission of Application by Candidates who are employed –

The Institute does not have any objection if the candidates in employment applications for the above postgraduate course (except candidates for sponsored candidates for all courses submit their applications direct, i.e., they are not required to submit their applications through the proper channel). However, all such candidates should inform their employer in writing that they are applying for this Entrance Examination. They should also sign the Undertaking in the downloaded copy of the Registration Slip that they have informed their employer about using AIIMS. If any communication is received from their department/office withholding permission for the candidate’s appearing at the entrcandidate’sation/admission to the course, the candidature/admission of the candidate will be canceled, and no further correspondence in this regard will be entertained. (Sponsored candidates are required to route their Registration Slip through the proper channel).
