AIIMS Announces Eligible List For May Professional Exam For Post-Doctoral, MD, MS, MDS, Fellowship Programmes

Delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Delhi) has announced the eligible candidates for Post Doctoral (DM/MCh/MSc course & MSc Nursing Phase-II) and MD/MS/ MDS/Fellowship Program for professional examination to be held in May 2023.

Both the lists consist of Courses, Specialty, Candidate’s Name, and Enrolment No. 156 candidates are there in the list of Post Doctoral (DM/MCh/MSc course & MSc Nursing Phase-II), and 262 candidates are there in MD/MS/ MDS/M Biotechnology/ Fellowship Program.

If there is any correction in the Name and Enrolment Number of the candidate, the candidates contact the Academic Section, AIIMS, New Delhi, till 31.03.2023.

An Act of Parliament in 1956 established the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) as an autonomous institution of national importance and defined its objectives and functions. The Institute grants its medical degrees and other academic distinctions by virtue of this Act. The degrees granted by the Institute under the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Act are recognized medical qualifications for the Indian Medical Council Act and, notwithstanding anything contained therein, are deemed to be included in the first schedule of that Act, entitling the holders to the same privileges as those attached to the equivalent awards from the recognized Universities of India.

Objectives of AIIMS –

1. To develop a pattern of teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education in all its branches to demonstrate the high standard of medical education to all medical colleges and other allied institutions in India.

2. To bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of the personnel in all important branches of the health activity.

3. To attain self-sufficiency in postgraduate medical education.
